Who we are

Rum Pearl for Mineral Blocks and feed additives (Rum Feed) was established in 2009 as a family business by self-fund and joint effort of the two brothers Muhammad and Ahmed Al-Saleh and their partners, utilizing their accumulated experience in livestock and poultry feeding and their deep knowledge Jordanian and Arab market needs.

The name

Based on the need to find a local Jordanian product that competes with international imported products in terms of quality, the company trade name (Rum Feed) was chosen to reflect the symbolism of Wadi Rum as a Jordanian national symbol and to tell a Jordanian success story par excellence.

The Journey

From rented 200 square meters with 4 products
to owned 43,000 square meters and 45 products

The company started its activity in a rented factory whose area did not exceed 200 square meters, as the beginnings were with the production of mineral licking blocks and a limited number of feed additives.

The company continued growth and expansion despite all the difficulties and challenges until it reached to carry out its activities through Three owned factories, built on area of 30,000 square meters in "Al-Muwaqqar" at the south of the capital Amman, and a fourth factory on area of 13,000 square meters in "Ghour al-Karamah" in the Jordan Valley.

The total areas of the production units owned by the company reached 43,000 square meters, with products portfolio of 45 products, and the number is counting

Since the beginnings, the biggest challenge has been to convince Jordanian livestock and poultry farmers of the existence of a local product that is capable to compete with European and international products they have used for many years, in a way that solidified their conviction in these imported products

The company worked hard, relying on its experiences and within its capabilities, to persuade breeders through testing its products on livestock and poultry owned by the company and some friend companies, and then publishing the results of these livestock performance. Depending on the slogan (Your livestock is the Judge), which became the company's icon, and the reason behind customers' trust , the company has bet on the outcomes that its products delivers to breeders in terms of productivity, whether for meat or milk production, in order to maximize deliverables, the company has provided products with the necessary technical support to ensure the best results , and that what has been confirmed by the targeted livestock itself through achieving growth and production rates that exceeded other livestock used competing products.This constituted a new approach in the Jordanian market, as few competing companies are interested in technical support as much as they are interested in selling, which was reported by many livestock breeders, and that what contributed to the good reputation of the company in Jordan and the Arab countries.
